Langkawi

Langkawi is an island of legends. Its name is believed to have originated from the abundance of eagles on the island: helang (eagle in Malay) and kawi (marble in Sanskrit), begets the moniker helang-kawi which was eventually toned down to Langkawi. The main settlement of locals is in Kuah, a dusty town noticeably beloved for its array of duty-free stores and Chinese seafood restaurants. Other popular areas include the Pantai Cenang and Pantai Tengah stretch, the quite strips of Pantai Kok and Padang Matsirat and the exclusive beaches of Datai Bay and Tanjung Rhu. No matter where you go on Langkawi you will find that myths and legends permeate its culture and history, so read up on them and familiarise yourself with the island’s most popular stories.

Town of Kuah

Around the town of Kuah, a dusty town noticeably beloved for its array of duty-free stores and Chinese seafood restaurants. Pantai Cenang; Pantai Tengah stretch, the quite strips of Pantai Kok and Padang Matsirat and the exclusive beaches of Datai Bay and Tanjung Rhu. Tomb Mahsuri and Eagle Square and Black Sand Beach.

Island Hopping

Island Hopping,  you will visit several famous islands such as the legendary Tasik Dayang Bunting (Pregnant Maiden Lake), go eagle watching at a nearby island and make a visit to Pulau Beras Basah (Wet Rice Island). 

After passing by the first island, you will witness wild eagles at close range. The long boat will drift slowly for you to see these birds of prey soaring overhead. There are a few different types of birds of prey and include the White-bellied Sea.

The Cable Car Ride

The cable car ride will bring you all the way up to about 708 meters above sea level. This tour will first bring you to enjoy the exhilarating 920m long cable car ride to the summit of the famous Mount Mat Cincang. Visitors can enjoy marvelous views of the Andaman Sea and the smaller islands of Langkawi. On clear days, one can also see the edge of Thailand in the North and Indonesia towards the South-West. Enjoy the cool air and the highland's view before proceeding down to the Oriental Village.

Underwater World Langkawi

Underwater World Langkawi is one of the island’s best-known attractions, spread across nearly six acres of area. Located at the southern end of Pantai Cenang (almost at the border of Pantai Tengah), beside the Zon duty-free shopping centre, it is Malaysia’s largest aquarium. The huge white-washed structure houses more than 200 different species of marine and freshwater fish including harbour seals, rockhopper penguins, sharks, giant rays and the enormous Amazonian arapaima – the biggest freshwater fish in the world.

Payar Island Marine Park

Payar Island Marine Park is a collection of four emerald-green islands surrounded by coral reefs that are home to many kinds of endangered marine species. Sail on a catamaran that will transport you to the marine park to discover beautiful marine life including many types of corals. Enjoy a magnificent close-up view of the unique coral formations which is home to a diversity which is home to a diversity of amazing coral & colourful tropical marine life. Snorkelling within the park is exciting especially for first timers who can safely see many different reef species. This Marine Park is a must for snorkelling and scuba diving. Spend your day swimming in the clear waters or sunbathing on the beautiful white sands. Snacks and equipment are provided. Glass bottom boat available for coral viewing.

Schedule :
Day 1 Arrival Langkawi
Meet upon arrival at Langkawi Airport, then transfer to hotel for check – in.
14:00 Proceed for round Langkawi Island Tour. First visit of the tour – The EagleSquare ( the symbol of Langkawi ), Black Sand Beach, Galeria Perdana,and Air Hangat.
Continue tour to Pantai Cenang, Gamat & Batik factories, Mahsuri Tomb, then last stop at Cable Car station.
Day 2 Langkawi Island (Breakfast)
Breakfast at the Resort.
Today is free for you to enjoy the beach and the Resort’s facilities, or join Optional tours ( your own expenses ).
Day 3 Departure Langkawi (Breakfast)
Breakfast at the Resort.
Free until the transfer to Airport for your departure flight.
